Campfire

Brown with a silver undertone and a metallic finish.

These shadows are made to dry down to a smudge proof finish, they are not waterproof but they will last all day on the lids.

NOTE: This color will have a little bit of a learning curve - but don't worry it isn't hard.  Due to the natural of the color pigments used for this color it works best that after brush application when the shadow is almost completely set - rub your finger over the shadow and watch it get a little more vibrant and smoother across the lids - don't be scared - trust me it works.

How to Apply: Put a dab (a little goes a long way) on the back of your hand or makeup palette and use a flat (not dense) lid brush, a fluffy brush, or your finger and brush onto the lids.  Take the tip of the brush to buff it slightly into the crease or if you want a halo eye use a small blender brush to blend the edges out after you have applied it to the center of your lids  They do dry fairly quickly so work 1 eye at a time.

Ingredients: Aqua (Distilled Water), Glycerin, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetyl Alcohol (and) Butylene Glycol (Emulsifier), Olive Squalane (Emollient), Phenoxyethanol (and) Benzoic Acid (and) Dehydroacetic Acid (Preservative), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract (Oat Extract),  Caprylic Triglyceride, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract (Calendula Extract) +/- Mica (Mica 77019), Fractionated Coconut Oil (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Silk Powder, Allantoin, Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI77289), Chromium Green (CI77288), Carmine, Iron Oxide (CI 77499, 77491, 77492), Tin Oxide (CI 778161), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Ultramarines (77007), Silica, *Synthetic Flurophylogopite, Zinc (CI 77947), Bronze and Copper Powder (CI 77400), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Hexylene Glycol, and Aluminum Powder))

    the perfect metallic cool bronze

Posted by Nevi on Sep 8th 2020

this shade is stunning. applying it is like putting liquid metal on my eyes--it's so beautiful in its intensity! though it's a learning curve to successfully work with these, once you figure out how to apply it (i prefer to lay down a transition color, then apply the shadow with my finger) it will be one of the most spectacular shadows you own! it doesn't dry down right away so you do get some time to work with it, but it also does dry down very well so it won't crease.

the color is a really beautiful cool-toned bronze with brownish undertones. it's very neutral, extremely sophisticated, and remarkable in how much it shines compared even to sydney grace's pressed metallic shadows (which are also stellar). the color should work with most skintones, which is another plus.

Too dark and blends out gray

Posted by Jennifer on Aug 30th 2020

I really wanted to love this cream eyeshadow for a simple one shadow look. It creases really bad if I don’t put eyeshadow primer on beforehand, which adds steps in the morning. The color is very pigmented, but on my fair skin tone I find when I blend it out near the creases it looks very gray. The color is also too dark for me to feel comfortable wearing it at all.

    PERFECTION!

Posted by Unknown on Aug 1st 2020

The perfect one and done shadow for an all over super easy but super impactful neutral shimmer smoky eye. These cream shadows blend beautifully, are crease resistant, and are just gorgeous. Using a small dense brush to apply and blending edges w a fluffier brush, and then going in again doing the same thing gives you a beautiful surprisingly very dimensional look, even more beautiful easily glammed up with a shadow topper. To me, the shade description on this one is a little off though, it's more a mid tone bronzey gold w a ever so slight pinky copper undertone to my eye, especially compared to the scoop which is very similar but warmer/more gold.

    Beautiful!

Just a stunning eyeshadow! It lasts all day, didn’t crease (I have hooded, oily lids. I used Elf eyeshadow primer.) and the color is beautiful! On my fair pink-undertone skin, this is a very lovely metallic taupe with an interesting shift that’s kind of hard to explain. It’s unique in my collection for sure! Applied and blended very easily, didn’t drain my skin or the brush I used to buff the edges. I’m 1000% gonna buy more colors.

    Very opaque

A very opaque, silvery brown. Did not crease when worn over primer and was easy to blend. Tube is a very generous size!

    A good useful neutral color but - - -

Posted by Sherry on Oct 30th 2019

So heavily pigmented that it is almost impossible to apply in any sort of subtle manner. Also it dries quickly, almost before I get it blended. Less pigmented would be more useful and the price is so good, no one would mind it a bit more were needed to get the desired effect.
