Cloud Nine Medium Setting Powder

This setting powder is our mica version; the differences between the mica and talc versions are more about preference than performance; both powders perform very similarly, but the mica version has a very slight sheen.

This setting powder is translucent but with a little color for those with a medium skin tone.

Each setting powder comes in a 50 gram jar that holds about 15 grams of powder.

Ingredients: Nylon-12, Silk Mica, Magnesium Myristate, Magnesium Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate and Hexylene Glycol, ((+/- Iron Oxide (CI 77499, 77491, 77492), Tin Oxide (CI 778161))

***Nylon12 is a powder we use to help with the slip.

***Silk Mica is natural and is similar to sericite mica but it's silkier, whiter and offers a soft, smooth texture that is mattifying.

***Magnesium Stearate is a chemical compound of Magnesium (element, same as in vitamins) and Stearate (plant-derived).

***Magnesium Myristate is the combination of Magnesium (a mineral) and Myristate a fatty acid (naturally occurring). Magnesium Myristate will add adhesion, slip, soft feel, and helps to repel water.

***Fractionated Coconut Oil (we use this to bind our Powders) - fraction of coconut oil comprised mainly of Capric and Caprylic Acid, thus giving it more of an antioxidant and disinfecting effect. Factionated Coconut Oil has a long shelf life, stability and rancidity resistant.

***Oxides are natural minerals and add color to the product, also helps with making the product opaque.

It's not bad, but packaging could be be better

The powder itself is OK, I don't find it to be very long-lasting if you have oily skin, but I think it's 4/5. The packaging is 2/5 for me unfortunately – I'm not sure what it is but getting the powder out of the holes is so difficult w/o just hitting it to jostle it loose. I assume it's just tightly packed but overall I'm not a fan.
