Tiny Marvels was a special project curated and brought to life by the late very talented Mel Thompson. With the blessing of her family, we want to continue to share her love, creativity, and passion with others. As a way to show our love and support, we are donating a portion of the proceeds from this palette directly to Mel's family.
The artwork for this palette was done by Mel's friend and tattoo artist Pat Bennett (Red Nimbus Tattoo Club, Murfreesboro, TN) and reflects Mel's love for bugs and colorful tattoos.

Ingredients: Silk Mica (Mica (77019), Boron Nitride, Carnauba Mica (Mica 77019 and Carnauba Wax), Magnesium Stearate, Magnesium Myristate, Zinc Stearate ((+/- Mica (77019), Fractionated Coconut Oil (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Chromium Green (CI77288), Iron Oxide (CI 77499, 77491, 77492), Tin Oxide (CI 778161), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Ultramarines (77007), Aluminum (77000), (Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, and Hexylene Glycol)).
***Silk Mica is natural and is similar to sericite mica, but it is silkier, whiter, and offers a soft, smooth texture.
***Boron Nitride is a soft, silky, white mineral powder that adds slip and adhesion to a product. Boron Nitride is soft and adds supreme creaminess to the powder, and is a natural, inert mineral.
***Carnauba Wax Mica is Sericite Mica that has been surface treated with Carnauba Wax, the wax coating helps bind the particles, so the formulas have less fly away when pressed.
***Titanium Dioxide is a natural mineral used to whiten, and it makes a product more opaque.
***Magnesium Stearate is a chemical compound of Magnesium (element, same as in vitamins) and Stearate (plant-derived).
***Magnesium Myristate is the combination of Magnesium (a mineral) and Myristate, a fatty acid (naturally occurring). Magnesium Myristate will add adhesion, slip, soft feel, and helps to repel water.
***Zinc Stearate made from natural and essential raw material.
***Fractionated Coconut Oil (we use this to bind our powders) - fraction of coconut oil comprised mainly of Capric and Caprylic Acid, thus giving it more of an antioxidant and disinfecting effect. Fractionated Coconut Oil has a long shelf life, stability, and rancidity resistance.
***Colored Micas add color, shimmer, and shine to the product.
***Nylon12 is a powder we use to help with the slip in some of our deeper, more pigmented shades.
***Oxides are natural minerals and add color to the product, also helps with making the product opaque.
***Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Hexylene Glycol - Preservative we use to preserve our eyeshadows and make them last longer.

A must have!
Super excited to receive this palette. What was even more special is that it was delivered to me on Mel's birthday! I've used the palette several times, and love the looks I come up with. The color story allows for many different combinations from neutral, colorful, and smokey/sultry looks. The mattes are pigmented and easy to blend; the shimmers are out of this world beautiful. This is a must have, and I'm glad to finally have it as part of my collection!

Blown away
I purchased this pallet after years of hearing raves about the formulas. Really exceptional product. Beats out all other shadows in my collection.

It's Just Okay
I must be the only person on the planet who doesn't love this palette. It's fine, it's beautiful, but I haven't loved any look I've done with it. The mattes have been difficult to blend. The shimmers are gorgeous-- no complaints there. But for the price, I wouldn't be jumping to purchase another palette with the same formula. They're good. I'm going to use the palette because I have it, but it's not a favorite.

I’ve wanted this for years
I’ve wanted Mel’s palette for years and finally got it. It’s absolutely gorgeous!! The shades are soft and pigmented and gorgeous! I’m pretty sure they’re actually hand pressed or hand assembled because there’s a slightly thumbprint in my green shade lol. They’re also extremely delicate shades, my lavender and pink shades had cracked when I got it but I pressed them down and they seem fine, just a bit more powdery than they’d otherwise be. I would say I’m overall extremely pleased with the palette, it was pretty well packaged, I would just recommend maybe scheduling pick-up at ur post office if your mailman has legs for arms like mine has.

Fantastic palette
I have had this palette for a while, and overall I enjoy the unique and functional colour layout, variety of neutrals, and surprisingly elegant shimmery shades. I always wind up with a killer look, and the range of shades lends some versatility, while conforming more generally to a neutral/ soft glam aesthetic. This is lovely and fun. Good lasting power with a shadow primer. Highly recommend.
