Medium cool matte brown, similar to Grounds but Grounds has more of a pink undertone.

***Silk Mica is natural and is similar to sericite mica, but it is silkier, whiter, and offers a soft, smooth texture.
***Boron Nitride is a soft, silky, white mineral powder that adds slip and adhesion to a product. Boron Nitride is soft, adds supreme creaminess to the powder, and is a natural, inert mineral.
***Carnauba Wax Mica is Sericite Mica that has been surface treated with Carnauba Wax; the wax coating helps bind the particles, so the formulas have less fly away when pressed.
***Titanium Dioxide is a natural mineral used to whiten, and it makes a product more opaque.
***Magnesium Stearate is a chemical compound of Magnesium (element, same as in vitamins) and Stearate (plant-derived).
***Magnesium Myristate is the combination of Magnesium (a mineral) and Myristate, a fatty acid (naturally occurring). Magnesium Myristate will add adhesion, slip, a soft feel, and will help to repel water.
***Zinc Stearate is made from natural and essential raw materials.
***Fractionated Coconut Oil (we use this to bind our powders) - fraction of coconut oil comprised mainly of Capric and Caprylic Acid, thus giving it more of an antioxidant and disinfecting effect. Fractionated Coconut Oil has a long shelf life, stability, and rancidity resistance.
***Colored Micas add color, shimmer, and shine to the product.
***Nylon12 is a powder we use to help with slip in some of our deeper, more pigmented shades.
***Oxides are natural minerals and add color to the product; they also help to make the product opaque.
***Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Hexylene Glycol - Preservative we use to preserve our eyeshadows and make them last longer.

This shade is such a great neutral brown matte shade that looks amazing in the crease or outer corner. I really think it goes with any other color I have. When I say it’s a basic, I mean it in the best way. Everyone needs it.

The essence of taupe
I don’t think I’m alone in a search for the just right Goldilocks of taupe. Eureka! Here it is. Of course Sydney Grace would have the artistic flair, experience amd thorough knowledge of colour theory to know exactly what cool brown should look like. This is a taupe that veers away from making me look half alive. It heightens the blue in my eyes and mixes well with Eastern Rise and Tiara. Add a bronze liner amd you’re set. It goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, that it blends without disappearing, maintains its vividness, and may have ended my search for the perfect taupe. Invites you to be creative and transform your eyes.

So I’m no stranger to Sydney Grace products! Actually, prior to even becoming an MUA, I was buying amazing products from them on their little Etsy site and they even had a different name back then! So since now I have drawers and drawers FULL of almost any brands you can think of, and I STILL reach for SG products in almost every look…I think that says something lol! This shade has been one that I’ve repurchased multiple times for personal use, as well as a few to have on hand at every one of my studios now! Many clients ask “who makes that? Did you take that out of an expensive palette to make it easier?” Nope, it’s just amazing and the prices are unreal! They order pretty quickly after seeing SG magic! But this baby,… It just works for so many looks, so many skin tones; and the formula is outstanding! Mattes can be hard, not for SG though! This baby can go from a one look shadow, darker in the crease and then blend that baby out for a lighter blown out look! Also it’s perfect to use in a pinch in any way possible! Add a little sparkle to the lid, this blown out above, fill in your brows if you are around the same shade (need it to be a touch darker, add a spritz of water or setting spray to your brush after picking up shadow and you have darker brows! This also for some can work as a contour or shading to add some life back in the skin! Basically, It’s magic in a pan and one that I have to have a few on hand at all times! It’s cool enough to wear at night, but light enough to wear to work! No fall out, no patches, smooth amazing formula! But if I’m honest, that’s for 99.999% of anything they make! If it says Sydney Grace, it’s gonna be GREAT!
