Our Whipped Beef Tallow provides a deep moisturizer that naturally contains vitamins A,D, E, & K making it especially good for adding moisture and soothing dry skin.
Our formula comes in 2 options: with beeswax & without beeswax. Because beef tallow has a low melting point, beeswax makes it a little thicker and more heat-stable. Please see below for more information should your tallow melt. Each of the 2 options comes in 3 "scents": unscented, Lavender, and Vanilla Sandalwood.
Our Beef Tallow Balm is made with simple, natural ingredients and no synthetic stabilizers or hardening agents. Because tallow naturally responds to temperature, your balm may soften or melt while traveling through warm delivery trucks, mailboxes, or porches.
If your tallow arrives melted or soft — don’t worry! This is completely normal and does not mean your product has gone bad.
Simply keep the jar upright and place it in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes, or until it has firmed back up. Once solid, store your balm in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Our tallow is whipped to create its light, creamy texture. Whipping incorporates air into the balm. If the product melts during transit, some of that air can escape and the balm may settle, making the jar appear less full, but you are still receiving the same amount of product by weight.
After re-solidifying, your balm may have a slightly different texture or may no longer have its original whipped appearance. This is a natural characteristic of handcrafted tallow products.
Please Note: We carefully prepare and package every order, but temperatures encountered during shipping are outside of our control. Melting or softening during transit is a natural possibility with tallow-based products.
Directions for Use: apply a small amount directly to skin and massage in. The tallow will soak into your skin, but only a small amount is required.
