Deep Navy Blue

Ingredients: Silk Mica (Mica (77019), Boron Nitride, L-Lysine Mica (Mica 77019 and Lauroyl Lysine), Caranuba Mica (Mica 77019 and Caranuba Wax), Magnesium Stearate, Magnesium Myristate, Zinc Stearate ((+/- Mica (Mica 77019), Fractionated Coconut Oil (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI77289), Chromium Green (CI77288), Iron Oxide (CI 77499, 77491, 77492), Tin Oxide (CI 778161), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Ultramarines (77007), Silica, *Synthetic Flurophylogopite, Zinc (CI 77947), Bronze and Copper Powder (CI 77400), Nylon 12, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Hexylene Glycol))

***Silk Mica is natural and is similar to sericite mica but its silkier, whiter and offers a soft, smooth texture that is mattifying.
WHY WE USE IT: we use this version of Mica because it is silkier and softer then regular sericite mica. This helps to make our shadows feel more luxurious. The price for this powder is about double what regular sericite mica is because of how silky smooth it applies - we think it is worth it!

***Boron Nitride is a soft, silky white mineral powder that adds slip and adhesion to a product. It is soft and adds supreme creaminess to the powder. Boron Nitride is a natural, inert mineral.

***Caranuba Wax Mica this is a Sericite Mica that has been surface treated with Carnauba Wax, the wax coating helps bind the particles so the formulas have less fly away when pressed. This also imparts great skin feel with amazingly smooth and light finish.

***Titianium Dioxide is a natural mineral used to whiten and makes a product more opaque.

***Magnesium Stearate is a chemical compound of Magnesium (element, same as in vitamins) and Stearate (plant derived).

***Magnesium Myristate is the combination of Magnesium (a mineral) and Myristate a fatty acid (naturally occurring). Magnesium Myristate will add adhesion, slip, soft feel and helps to repel water.

***Zinc Stearate made from natural and essential raw material. If you choose to press your powders having this in the base helps your powders press more easily

***Fractionated Coconut Oil (we use this to bind our Powders) - fraction of coconut oil comprised mainly of Capric and Caprylic Acid thus giving it more of an antioxidant and disinfecting effect. Has a long shelf life, stability and rancidity resistant.

***Colored Micas add color, shimmer and shine to the product.

***Nylon12 is a powder we use to help with the slip in some of our deeper more pigmented shades.

***Oxides are natural minerals and add color to the product, also helps with making the product opaque.

***Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Hexylene Glycol - Preservative we use to preserve our eyeshadows and make them last longer. This is used at about .2% of the total weight

    Not as deep as hoped

Posted by Raven Troupe on Aug 16th 2019

    Skintone: Fenty 420, Lancome 500w, NC55.
    Hair: Black
    Eyes: Dark brown

#Itsaboy is a pretty navy. Let me start out with that. If wanting a lovely navy blue which applies well without much to any fallout at all. I purchased it with the hope that this was a dupe for JP's Yejide (magic palette), MUR's Hell (Give Them Darkness palette) or Sleek Makeup Abyss (I-divine Bad Girl palette).

Sadly it was not. #Itsaboy is a respectable navy blue with a hint of a white base to possibly help its opacity, but it isn't deep enough to be the blackened blue single that was hoped for.

Formula: Silky, smooth in application, minimal fallout and blends well with a dry or wet brush. The color will deepen a bit if applied wet and fine lining with mixing medium makes for a nice navy wing.

    True Navy

I needed to replace a Trish McEvoy navy shadow and thought I would try this. Wow. I used it as a liner with Inglot Duraline and it was amazing. This was so much better than the Trish eyeliner. More pigment, no patchiness. I love it.

This is the perfect shade of Navy, with subtle micro shimmer mixed in. From a distance, the shimmer is not very noticeable. Its still a true matte. I think this shade would be awesome paired with a bright peach or coral. I love this color and recommend it to everyone!
